Anxious… Thoughts inspired by Dr. Seuss Nov. 3, 2020

Many are anxious, can’t sleep a wink, laying in bed simply grinding their teeth.
No matter what happens this day into night… be kind to each other, it will be alright.
We are brothers and sisters and oh so much more… we live on a planet we need to adore!
So laugh, cry and smile… scream, shout or cuss, then take a deep breath for enough is enough.
Join hands with your neighbor, build up, not tear down… we are in this together, this is our own town.
Reaching across aisles, roads, states and beyond; realize human love is the strong bond.
We strengthen each other, pick up where each lacks, from all different backgrounds, wearing dresses or slacks.
In life we keep going as hard as it is, but never alone, that’s not what we’ve been shown.
Social creatures we are by day and night. Needing to talk, not to fight!
So reach out and speak out, listen and learn! Then know that you too can have a turn!
Your voice is important! We see you glow! Each life here has value and love, don’t you know?
Call a friend or your family, to a neighbor say hi! Start a conversation with a stranger about the color of the sky.
For what we are saying and needing right now, is for everyone to come together some way, somehow.
So safely at home or out being kind, remember you aren’t the only one losing your mind.
Big hugs to you all far and near… stay strong and breathe deep, we will eventually get through this fear (and this year).
Xoxo, Keena
